I think Quenneville has this award in the bag. Chicago started the season by going 24 games without a regulation loss and finished with the leagues best record.

Quenneville has done a fantastic job with the Hawks, no doubt. But this is Paul MacLean's award. What the Sens have done with all those injuries is nothing short of a miracle.

Id honestly vote it as Maclean, Boudreau and then Quennville. Maclean because after Ott did good last year everyone wrote them off as overachievers and they wont make the playoffs next year. Not only did Maclean get them in. He got them in without EK and Spez. And many other guys aswell. Boudreau 2nd for me because I dont think alot of people expected the Ducks to play so well. Even Ducks fans im sure. I think playoffs were expected but they played really good. You expect Chi to do what they did. Theyre right there every year. Sure there is something to be said about being there every year. But I feel Ott and Anaheim did things most didnt think were gonna happen.

No.

Boudreau doesn't deserve it solely based on his incompetence in the Playoffs. Hes lost every single game seven and has never seen a Conference Final.
